Anti-Harassment Awareness in the Workplace

This anti-harassment presentation will equip employees and employers with a befitting understanding of what harassment in the workplace entails, its effect on employees and understanding behaviour which constitutes harassment; Once the employees understand what harassment is and how it may affect them in the workplace, the session will also highlight and rights in respect of the legal framework, as per anti-harassment legislation in the workplace, and the wider working community. Lastly, it will give practical examples guidelines to the employee and the employer how to deal with and to report harassment, in a constructive manner and what the applicable procedures are to follow within the ambit of legislation, the Code of conduct and Policies of the employer. The workshop should be attended by managers, HR managers and practitioners, shop stewards, and union representatives.
