Schedule 8: Code of Good Practice: Dismissal was issued by the Minister of Employment and Labour on 4 September 2025. The Code provides guidance on dismissal, incapacity and retrenchment. It its new in its application on small businesses, the requirements of fairness for dismissals, for instance what is a fair procedure and how to decide on a fair sanction. Retrenchment, probation and incapacity is also dealt with. Every manager and employer, bit or small should attend this webinar to understand and apply this important code of conduct in the workplace.
